CRIMINAL DEFENSE
There are very few experienced criminal defense attorneys who regularly practice in Northern Minnesota. Mr. Kuesel is one of them. Mr. Kuesel has tried cases ranging from Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) to First Degree Murder. Approximately 80 percent of Mr. Kuesel’s practice is devoted to representing people accused of a crime. While Mr. Kuesel focuses his practice in Northern Minnesota, he has defended clients in courtrooms from Minneapolis to International Falls and from Moorhead to Duluth. Mr. Kuesel has been very successful in doing so, having obtained numerous acquittals and dismissals on behalf of his clients. If an outright dismissal is not possible, Mr. Kuesel takes pride in obtaining the best possible plea agreement for his clients. Mr. Kuesel usually handles criminal cases on a flat-fee basis, which is quoted to the client after the initial consultation. Mr. Kuesel is a member of the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (MACDL) and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDL).
